Proprietors: Jenny and Ron Neate
Jenny Neate, Proprietor of The Neate Swim School, has been teaching swimming since the age of 16 when she qualified as a Junior Swimming Instructor,one of the youngest instructors in the state at the time.Since then she taught in Wagga Wagga and Wollongong and was appointed as the Head Coach & Teacher of the Springwood Pool in the Blue Mountains.Living in Goulburn for the past 44 years, Jenny regularly taught for The Department Of Sport and Recreation and Goulburn Council, as well as conducting swimming lessons for the Department of Sport and Recreation at Moruya and Ulladulla on the South Coast. Jenny operated a retail business in Goulburn for 12 years and then opened The Neate Swim School in Goulburn in 1996. Jenny does not now do much “hands on”teaching,but is actively involved in assessment and grading of students and ensuring that the high standards she has always taught are maintained.
Ron Neate, Co-Proprietor of The Neate Swim School with Jenny, had a career in health administration,aged care and disability employment services,before semi-retiring in 2006 to assist Jenny with the business and to pursue other interests including part-time work in the training industry. Ron is responsible for the financial management of the business and the maintenance of the facilities.
Jenny and Ron have been married for 47 years ,have 3 children and 9 grand-children.
Rachael Grant has been with the Neate Swim School since April 2012. Her duties include co-ordinating and conducting Infants lesson, swimming lessons at all levels, Squad/Junior Coaching and office/reception.

Chloe Baird has been with the Neate Swim School since January 2017. Her duties include conducting swimming lessons at all levels, Chloe is very well liked by all her students & parents.

Karen Ralph has been with the Neate Swim School since July 2017. Her duties include co-ordinating and conducting Infants lessons and swimming lessons at all levels, Karen had previously worked at The Neate Swim School & we are happy to have her back.

Jacob Emmerton has been with the Neate Swim School since April 2015. His duties include conducting swimming lessons at all levels. He also assists Jenny with Junior Squad. Jacob is Jenny & Ron’s grandson & enjoys being involved in the business at different levels.
