NEATEability is a non profit organisation providing affordable swimming lessons for children 0-18 with a disability. The Neate Swim School is very proud to announce that we are officially launching our NEATEability program this Saturday 18th July at 1pm. NEATEability is a program for special needs children aged 0-18yrs and will replace our Rainbow Club Program. Everyone is invited to come along and enjoy a sausage sizzle and have a look around our swim school to see what we have to offer. The program will be launched by local radio station 2GN. So tell your family and friends to come on down to share this special day with us. Please call the office on 02 48212553 for any enquires. Don’t forget we are at 15 Dewhirst St (just near Cookbundoon Soccer Fields).
The criteria for eligibility is that your child (children) has a recognised disability and that the parent or caregiver is in receipt of the carers allowance. From Term 3 2015, cost for these lessons are subsidised at a cost of $ 150.00 per term. This is made up of one 30 minute lesson per week, per 10 week term. Each child will be assessed individually according to their abilities and appropriately allocated a suitable lesson with an experienced instructor.
We also have a water wheelchair & chair lift for those who require assistance into the pool.
