I thought I would send "good luck" vibes to all of our little swimmers who have made it to the next level at their swimming carnivals. We have some who are in Yass today for the Catholic Schools district carnival & some will be in Goulburn soon for their district carnivals. We wish you the very best of luck in your races. Whether you win or lose, the main thing is you have competed. It is very satisfying to see so many doing so well. "Good luck" again everyone. ... See MoreSee Less
We are now into our second week of term 1, 2018. Swimming carnivals have started & we have lots of kids competing for the first time. It is not ALL about winning but having a go. Well done to the ones who have had their carnivals already, & good luck to all those who will be competing in the next couple of weeks.
All our teachers are settling into the new routine well with the new kids also feeling comfortable.
We are still taking new bookings, so if you are thinking of phoning but haven't yet, please don't wait too long as there are not too many gaps left.
We have been asked by a lot of parents about the Sports Vouchers & whether we are accepting them. The answer is YES, but, we can't register till 1st March as a provider. As the term will be 3/4 over by then, parents might be better using them for winter sports, like soccer etc. Unfortunately, this is out of our control & it is the same throughout NSW.
Until next week, good luck again everyone & paddle, paddle, kick, kick. Jenny & Ron ... See MoreSee Less
Here we are into Term 1, 2018. Yesterday started the term with a real busy day as will be the rest of the week.
We are all looking forward to a great term with great progress happening during the term. With school swimming carnivals coming up, it is very important to get the children into lessons before then to get them ready.
We started our squads last night with very good results. The children haven't forgotten very much over the holidays, so that is very positive.
Our Thursday night squad starts this week as well, so we hope to see all of our regulars there for another good night.
Until next week, don't forget to "paddle, paddle, kick, kick". ... See MoreSee Less
